Werth FlatScope

Werth FlatScope is the world’s most accurate 2D scanner for measuring flat workpieces. Ideal for both shop floors and measuring rooms, it provides fast and highly accurate 2D optical measurements.

It has a smart design where the image sensor is placed below a glass plate that holds the part being measured. This means all parts are automatically in focus, with no need for manual adjustments. The FlatLight system ensures even lighting across the entire area, and special software tools help detect edges and shapes accurately. It’s perfect for measuring large flat items like foils, PCBs, and finely cut metal parts.

Made In

Equipped with Werth contour image processing, the machine offers highly accurate, non-contact measurement of delicate surfaces and small geometries. The modular design allows customization for measuring accuracy, speed, and range. The WinWerth® software simplifies measurement evaluation with 3D graphics, CAD support, and automatic measurement options. It complies with ISO 10360/VDI 2618 standards for traceable 3D specification.

Key Features:

Automatic workpiece alignment:
The AutoAlign function automatically aligns parts placed on the measuring table, saving time and effort.

High-resolution overall images:
Patented Raster Scanning HD technology combines multiple images into one high-resolution image for detailed analysis.

Quick image-based evaluation:
Measurements can be done directly within the image without moving the machine axes, making the process faster.

Flexible lighting options:
Brightfield and darkfield incident lighting are available for better contrast; zoom optics with MultiRing® allow adaptable illumination.

Stable setup:
The system is installed on vibration-isolated air springs with automatic level control, ensuring accurate results.

Advanced testing and analysis:
Functional inspection and color-coded deviation mapping are possible using Werth BestFit or ToleranceFit®, making it easy to spot out-of-tolerance areas.
