Sizeable Performance
The Azimuth’s bridge uses lightweight aluminium honeycomb panels, originally developed for Formula One and aerospace. This gives the machine an excellent balance of strength and low weight, making it both fast and highly accurate for its size. Its drive systems are designed for simplicity and reliability, and the unique Y-axis system ensures consistent performance even on larger models, up to 3 meters.
Fully Loaded
Big machines need to measure heavy parts too, and Aberlink has found a smart solution. Instead of making the granite table thicker and heavier, they use a specially designed load plate that sits on the granite base. This plate can handle up to 6 tonnes, with the weight going straight through the machine’s feet to the floor—ensuring no impact on measurement accuracy.
